DR7 joined Castleford in 2020 from St Helens where he scored an impressive 175 goals. Richardson carried a constant threat with his kicking and dynamic movement when he featured last year and will be looking to continue his good run of form as he enters his third year as a Tiger.
Danny’s professional career started at St Helens where he made his debut against Leeds Rhinos in 2017. He spent short loan spells with Sheffield Eagles and Leigh Centurions during his time at Saints but decided to make the move to Castleford for 2020. By choosing the Tigers, Richardson thought it would be the ideal club to kick on into the next stage of his career.
During 2018, the half-back was selected in the England Knights Performance squad and the following year played against Jamaica at Headingley Rugby Stadium.
Danny was looking to be a first team regular at Cas before a heartbreaking injury at the back end of 2022. 2023, and he'll be stepping up his rehab and aiming to return later in the year.
